Dear Families,
The safety and wellbeing of our families, children, staff, and wider community, are at the heart of all we do and as such, we want to provide you with an update on how this may impact the operation of Elephas Education centres.
As announced by the Queensland Premier; Annastacia Palaszczuk, from 5pm Monday 29th March 2021 all suburbs in the Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich, Moreton, and Redlands areas will enter a three-day lockdown under the same restrictions introduced in March 2020 to prevent the spread of this recent UK strain of COVID-19.
“People in the designated lockdown areas will only be able to leave their home for essential reasons. In addition, people will be required to wear a mask at all times while outside their homes,” Ms Palaszczuk said.
In light of this recent announcement, we have decided to minimise the number of non-staff adults attending the centre. As such, all centre tours have been temporarily postponed and we are asking that only one adult attend the service to pick up and drop off your child where possible. Please note you will be required to wear a mask at all times inside the service in accordance with the restriction guidelines.
We want to assure families that we will continue to act upon recommendations from our federal and state health departments and will be undertaking a deep clean and sanitisation of the entire centre as a precautionary measure. We thank you once again for your continued support and your contribution to keeping our community safe. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
Kind regards,
Giselle Rayward
